About Hung Ci Lion Dance Troupe

Hung Ci was established in the autumn of 2023 to promote, spread, and cultivate the traditional lion dancing culture in the DMV area. The team, led by seasoned lion dance coach Teach Roberts, has achieved significant milestones, including performing at Vice President Kamala Harris's Lunar New Year Celebration, participating in AAPI month celebrations with the Governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, and entertaining at the Kennedy Center.
